Instructor of Digital Design
REPSONSIBILITIES: The Department of Art is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position dedicated to teaching and developing digital design studio courses at the undergraduate level. He/she must have the ability to teach design technology, digital design studio, visual aspects of graphic design, web design and development, digital photography, computer aided design, advanced studio, digital modeling and visualization is required. The candidate should also have adequate professional experience in mobile media that transforms community and social life. The Instructor will be expected to teach four courses per semester, advise students, participate in departmental service and perform any other duties within the scope of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree in Design or Art is required and/or many years of professional experience in the relevant field is preferred. The candidate should have knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Firework, JavaScript, Flash, AutoCAD and 3D Studio Max.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
