City College is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to direct our new Associate Degree program in Surgical Technology. The director will oversee two campuses in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. City College offers competitive salaries, health insurance and a 401K plan. The ideal Candidate will have the following Credentials and Experiences:
Have at minimum of Associate Degree
Be a Certified Surgical Technologist through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
Have at least two years experience as a Surgical Technologist
Preferably have a Bachelors Degree or be willing to complete a bachelors degree within seven years of employment
The Ideal Candidate will perform the following Summary of Duties:
Assist in the develop program syllabi
Teach in classroom and lab courses
Direct clinical coordinator and oversee clinical instruction
Assist in the development of clinical sites
Order supplies and equipment as needed
Prepare program for Commission for the Accreditation of Allied Health Professions (CAAHEP) accreditation
