Chatham University seeks a faculty member specialized in Sustainability and Business, whose rank will be determined by credentials.
Funded by Chatham’s Falk Sustainability Endowment, this person will bring business knowledge, experience, and connection to our professional graduate programs in Sustainability and Business. The successful candidate will demonstrate an established record of leadership and success in creating partnerships with sustainability leaders in private and public sectors. In addition to teaching, this person will connect students with practitioners and generate educational, internship, and career opportunities for Chatham students. An important part of this job is to further develop and lead the track in Business and Sustainability within the Master of Sustainability program, the MBA, and to lead the creation of this track in the baccalaureate degree programs in sustainability. Chatham’s programs in business and sustainability are highly experiential, affording students with an extensive business exposure and opportunities. Our goal is to develop business and sustainability professionals equipped to tackle real world problems. Minimum qualification for this position includes a Master’s degree and experience in leadership roles. A Ph.D. degree is desired. Preferred start will be August, 2014; review of applications will begin on March 1, 2014.
