Geographic characteristics of Latin America from colonization to present. Regions are interpreted by analysis of geographical elements and their interrelationships.
Local candidates are preferred for teaching assignments but qualified instructors outside local area may be considered. The University does not sponsor candidates or reimburse relocation expences for adjunct faculty.
The successful candidate will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends or one night a week for eight weeks. A generous stipend is paid plus reasonable travel expenses incurred with the teaching of the course.

Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Geography with graduate level coursework in the topic to be taught is preferred.
