Bucknell University is seeking to fill a 1-year visiting position in the Department of International Relations, beginning in August 2014. Candidates are expected to have a PhD or ABD in International Relations, Political Science, Geography or other relevant interdisciplinary degree.
The successful candidate will teach six courses for the academic year. We are seeking a candidate whose teaching and research interests are broadly in human security and global governance, including but not limited to international peace and conflict resolution, disaster management, peacebuilding, economic, environmental, food, or health security, humanitarian assistance and relief, and nongovernmental organizations. The selected candidate will be able to teach courses on globalization, human security and humanitarian intervention. May teach courses emphasizing a regional focus other than Europe, East Asia, and Latin America.
