Job Description: The Department of Sociology is seeking applications for a full time, tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 2014 specializing in Global Studies/Social Justice with a focus on the Middle East, South Asia, or Latin America. Responsibilities include: teach undergraduate courses in Sociology, including global social problems, Middle Eastern, Latin American, or South Asian Societies or related courses; advise students; participate in departmental activities such as program review and curriculum development; foster departmental efforts to enhance the teaching and learning of sociology through technology, service learning, internships and research opportunities; assist in the department's concentration in Global Studies and Social Justice.
