Job Description: The Department of Theater and Dance seeks an Assistant Professor who can serve as the Technical Director/Lighting Designer for the six production season of theater and dance. The full-time tenure track position will also require two classes a semester of introductory theater courses, including Play Production, Stage Lighting or other technical electives in rotation. In addition to teaching and technical direction/lighting design, the responsibilities include advising students and participating in departmental and university committees. Required Qualifications: An MFA in Theater Technology or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have experience teaching at the college level, professional or educational design experience, and a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues in theater and dance.
