Assist in the planning and implementation of Global Programs initiatives in support of the University's global strategy. Improve the understanding of global program activities at the University by developing internal research functions, improve communication and coordination among global stakeholders at the University and within Global Programs, ensure close communication flow with the Vice President and Associate Provost for Global Programs (VP/AP), and support special global initiatives. Research and maintain a library of best practices in higher education global strategy, collaborations and communications. Encourage dissemination and discussion with BUs global stakeholders through a range of means including direct outreach, website and newsletters, webinars. Serve as focal point/project manager for the Global Programs database use, enhancements and/or changes including coordinating among Global Programs and IS&T staff, ensuring clear scoping of requirements with input from key stakeholders, monitoring timely progress toward goals, regular updates to all stakeholders, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and documenting agreed practices in a user manual. Support the annual data collection of BUs global program activities, including survey revisions, proactive follow-up, data cleaning, and other matters related to the storage and use of data collected. Design reports to reflect and analyze the University's global engagement.
B.A./B.S in related field, Masters Degree preferred, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and written communication, ability to produce high-quality work reflecting attention to detail and accuracy, highly organized, with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively both independently and as part of a team, able to meet tight deadlines, experience with data collection, management and analysis, experience with multiple database platforms is a plus, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience with HTML, Wordpress and Qualtrics is a plus, higher education experience preferred and three to five years of professional experience in a fast paced operational environment.
