Provide basic administrative support for various efforts undertaken by the Global Programs Office, but predominantly works as part of a team to perform the front-line reception and general advising duties for Boston University Study Abroad (BUSA). Manage the flow of thousands of communications/documents via BUSAs main email account, phone and fax lines, mail, and walk-in visitors. Support the Enrollment Services team by coordinating the receipt and validation of a high volume of incoming application and pre-departure documents. Promote BUSAs programs and maximize participant enrollment and retention through timely and accurate advising and customer service-driven communications. Assist Global Programs staff with administrative support and special projects as assigned. This position follows a set rotational schedule assuring that all responsibilities are covered by the three-person team during regular business hours.
B.A./B.S., excellent Microsoft Office skills and database applications, excellent organizational and administrative skills and a high level of self sufficiency, strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, the ability to work as part of a team, must be able to balance competing priorities, professional knowledge of international education preferred and a minimum of one to three years of experience working in an office environment and customer service.
