Beloit College’s Department of History seeks an Asian historian (all subfields/periods open) to teach two courses in spring semester, 2014. The successful applicant will teach an introductory seminar in Asian History (on a topic of the candidate’s choice) and an intermediate level survey course on Asia and the World. Beloit College has an active Asian Studies program and supports interdisciplinary approaches to course development and student research. This is a part-time, non-renewable, leave replacement position. Review of applications will begin on November 1 and continue until position is filled.
