R2394 Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry

This job expired 2 months ago.The Department of Chemistry at Bates College (http://www.bates.edu), a selective liberal arts college of 1,725 students, invites applications for a one year replacement position in chemistry to begin in the fall semester of 2012. Teaching expectations include both semesters of a two-semester introductory chemistry sequence, the first semester of an organic chemistry sequence, two associated laboratory sections, and a general interest (100-level) course of the candidate's design. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience in both introductory chemistry and organic chemistry. A Ph.D. is strongly preferred, but ABD will be considered. The college and the Chemistry department are committed to enhancing the diversity and inclusion of the campus community and the curriculum.
