The Asian University for Women is an emerging regional center of excellence that offers a liberal arts education, graduate school training, and leadership development to young women from all across Asia and the Middle East, regardless of background. Currently, AUW has over 500 students from 12 countries throughout the region, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, the People's Republic of China, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. The Asian University for Women is seeking an Assistant Professor to teach Anatomy and Physiology (two semesters, both with lab) and an additional course be determined (topical course for non-majors or upper-level seminar). Ph.D in relevant sub-discipline required, teaching experience and familiarity with liberal arts education preferred. The teaching load is five courses per year. Additional expectations include: advising senior thesis projects, pursuit of scholarly interests and service to the university.
