ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SOCIAL WORK

Department: Psychology, Sociology, & Social Work

Salary: Commensurate

Job Summary
Perform faculty responsibilities in the areas of teaching, service, and scholarship.

Duties
Teach four undergraduate social work courses per semester. Advise students. Assist with accreditation processes as needed. Serve on committees. Conduct scholarly research.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to teach a broad spectrum of topics in social work and have good communication and computer skills.

Qualifications
MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited social work program is required. Two years' experience in post-MSW professional social work practice is required. Doctorate in social work or related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Texas LMSW, LMSW-AP, or LCSW license or license eligible is preferred.
