The College of Engineering at Alfaisal University is seeking to fill positions at any academic level (Instructor to Associate Professor) to start in September 2013. The successful candidate is expected to make a significant contribution to the College’s educational and research activities and to build a strong, externally funded research program. In particular, candidates who have a proven ability to teach courses in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:
Architectural Engineering: Building Materials, Construction Technology, Construction Drawing, Structural Mechanics, Sustainable Buildings, Building Acoustics, Building Services Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Lighting Systems, Interior Design, Indoor Air Quality, Waste Management in Buildings, Building Energy Management, and Environment, Economics and Policy.
Industrial Engineering: Operations Research (Deterministic and Stochastic Modeling), Simulation, Production and Service Systems Planning.
Mechanical Engineering: Mechanics of Materials, Manufacturing, Vibration and Damping, Finite Element Modeling for Dynamic and Structural Analysis, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Mechatronics.
Software Engineering: Database Management Systems, Embedded Systems, Web Application Development, Human-Computer Interface Design, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Configuration Management and Evolution, Software Project and Process Management.

The remuneration package includes an internationally competitive salary, housing allowance, repatriation allowance, contribution to pension, education allowance for up to 3 children, medical and life insurance.
