DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and assess, in coordination with the Vice President of Education & Training and the academic deans, curriculum and instructional design, QEP, and delivery systems that will maximize student learning outcomes relative to program goals.
• Lead student learning assessment systems to measure attainment of learning outcomes in conjunction with program faculty.
• Manage the academic program review system and DACUM process.
• Oversee the development of new and monitor ongoing faculty development programs to enhance student achievement of learning outcomes.
• Oversee the services of the Academic Success Center to support the attainment of learning outcomes for those students needing additional support outside the classroom.
• Oversee the services of new student academic advising, early alert and new student orientation.
• Align the services of the library to support the learning objectives of programs and to develop students' life-long learning skills through research.
• Lead educational technology and distance learning offerings to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Supervise professional and support staff assigned to the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence.
• Manage budgets and other resources to maximize support services needed to achieve learning outcomes. Participate in College activities and committees and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in a related discipline, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience required. Master's degree from an accredited college in curriculum and instructional development or a closely related field and a minimum of three (3) years supervisory and administrative experience in higher education preferred. In addition, demonstrated leadership and communication skills are essential.
